I'm happy.

Work has been so hectic recently. Many of my friends told me that i'm doing too much for my pay and i totally agree. I can't decide if i should stay, how long more or should i just leave this job. I met my senior from NP mass com who works in the same department as me but she's doing marketing coordinator while i'm just a marketing admin. Workload there is definitely much more than what i can handle but there has been a growing numbers of factors that are keeping me to stay there. I need much more wisdom, strength and preserverance to endure till Feb (bonus month!). But well, everything has been going on pretty smooth this past week. Thank God for his blessings that are indeed much better than what i expected. He never fails me.

So many things i'm so excited about.

1. My upcoming babysitting jobs

Indeed God has been really good to me. Tell me.. who would hire a 21 year old with not much experience at babysitting to look after their kids, and even pay me so well. And i managed to clinch 2 jobs, for last night and another family for tonight. I'll babysitting 3 kids at Holland tonight, British family, a 10 year old, 7 year old and 3 year old. Hope it'll be fun. Anyway, I was babysitting this super duper adorable four year old Thai-American last night at Bt Timah, he is super handsome and so so so cute. His mom went out for dinner so i was with him the whole night. We had 5 hours to ourselve and this is what we did:

8pm: He drew spiders for me. That was what he said it was, but i couldn't really tell it was spiders so had to make use of my little imagination a bit.

9pm: We went down to playground and he makes me sit on the fire engine with him. We rode to almost 10 over places to put out fires.

9:30: We went to the fitness corner, he wanted to do pull ups when he saw the demostration board.. and i had to carried him and hang him up there for a dozen times.

10pm: We went back home and played gun shootings. I had to pretend i'm the monster and raise up my hand when he shoot me. This went on for a few hundred times.

1030pm: He got a little sleepy so he sat on my lap and started massaging my face with all his strength. He kept lifting up my eyelids, playing my hair.

11pm: He fell asleep on my lap with a lollipop in his mouth and i fell asleep too.

2. Lancaster workshop at SPH building

We're having a Image Styling workshop tomorrow and I helped to be the model for their transformations. We did some photoshoot at work yesterday and tomorrow they'll be making me up. So fun..

Some pictures:

As an appreciation for my help, i was also given a Swissotel Buffet dinner voucher for 2. It's worth $98. Wow.. Let see who will be the lucky one to go with me for this meal. YEAH!!. (:

JB trip

This mark the end of a long weekend for me, but well sad as i am that tomorrow i'll be back to the boring job.. i know that all good things have to come to an end. Amy and I went to JB by ourselves today. It was the first time i've been to JB in such a small group, ok.. not even group, just the 2 of us. We took a 15mins bus ride from Kranji there, can't believe how near JB is to S'pore. We're just seperated by a 400m bridge. I've never notice that before.. yes in my many years in S'pore.. never.

Me and Amy on the bus there. Bus ride - $0.90 to JB. Bus name is The Yellow Smiling Face (with a big smiley face), isn't it cute or what.

Our lunch, Fish and Chicken Wing (hiding under fish fillet) with spagahetti or rather Mee Rebus. It claims to be spag, but looks and taste very much like Mee Rebus. Confused noodle.

Presenting myself and the plate of food i can't wait to dug into.

After some 'mee rebus', made a phonecall to nobody in a antique red phonebooth i thought it had already extinct.

Hello Hello??

Bike Congestion in the carpark. I wonder what will they do if someone needs to ride their bike out. Carry it out??

After lunch, we watched Death Race at Cathay City Square.. Wheee.. RM$10 for 1 ticket.

Followed by dinner at a BKT store 15mins taxi ride away.

Bak Ku Teh store.

Bak Kut Teh aunty.
