Outing with W278 at ECP

Over the past few mths i've put on more than 3kg, and so has many of my cell group members and friends. Thus, after many so long, we finally had our very first cell group outing to East Coast Park. It was quite a enjoyable day but super duper tiring. First of all, we alighted at a wrong bus stop which is all the way to the far end of ECP near the jumbo seafood area. We had to walk for almost an hour to the Mcdonald area where Yuki was waiting for us. By the time we reahed there, most of us were already cooked by the heat and exhausted.

During blading and walking Yuki's dog - Sky, i was so concentrating not to blade over Sky that i tripped over a damn nut half the size of my palm and landed on my knees. Now i have cuts and scratches all over my knee. Quite dumb to trip over a stupid piece of nut right.

Well, in short it was a tiring but fruitful day. I'm sure i've lost a few grams, hopefuly..

Suzuki Cup 2008 - SG vs MYM

I'm on time off from work today.. yeah. Finally have a day to sleep past 7am. Was just watching the Suzuki Cup 2008 soccer match between SG and MYN, my goodness MYN players are so temperamental and violent!! Feel so angry watching the match. They wanted to walk out on the game 80mins into the game cos they were unhappy that the referee gave the free kick too early in the game and SG managed to score one. so even though it was allowed, they surrounded the referee and kept arguing with him. This was what happened at the semi-final games at SG between us and MYN too, sooo history repeating itself again.

After wasting 6mins arguing with the referee, the goal was awarded to us, and that make them even more mad which led them to purposely attacked one of our players from the back yet again. not the first player they attacked, 2 players had already been sent out on the stretches already. Damn it.. so violent. The last game they had with SG they even threw bottles at our SG players. But anyway, congrats to SG team, beat MYM handsdown with 3-1.

Well this is like one of those rare times i watch soccer but i've to say it's pretty interesting and i really enjoy it. Just studying and analyzing the character of each individual player, strength and weaknesses.

JB sat & my poor finger

eek. i just cut my middle finger while cutting ginger to make my dinner just now. it's a little deep, was very numb when i first sliced into it. soooo very painful can.

anyway the reason why i haven't been blogging, aside from my ultra busy 24/7 job is also that i seriously am so pack that i dunno when and where to start with. well, not that my life is that exciting, it's not. it's just that it's so full of mundane things and not at all exciting.

anyhow, i was over at JB with Amy on sat, my second time this week. first time being on wed after work at 8pm. it was kindof crazy, ended work at 8pm rush to kranji and took a bus down just to have dinner. only to find out that all restaurants closes at 930pm and we reached there just on time to watch them close. thank god for one that closes at 945, else we'll prob end up eating the jb mac and we'll be boo hoo-ing all the way.

this is the mad traffic there on sat, we're all queuing for the same bus, that 'smiling-logo' bus with that yellow sign at the far left of the picture:

We watched TWILIGHT there, S'pore is only releasing on the 18th of Dec, but we watched it on 7th Dec. YEAH! mmm.. a number of good looking cast in it. lead actor as expected is ultra handsome in the movie just like the poster. overall, the movie do have some impressive scene, but i was a little disappointed, wasn't as good as what i expected. Especially didn't like the ending, was too abrupt like the director was rushing to end the story already.

I'm happy.

Work has been so hectic recently. Many of my friends told me that i'm doing too much for my pay and i totally agree. I can't decide if i should stay, how long more or should i just leave this job. I met my senior from NP mass com who works in the same department as me but she's doing marketing coordinator while i'm just a marketing admin. Workload there is definitely much more than what i can handle but there has been a growing numbers of factors that are keeping me to stay there. I need much more wisdom, strength and preserverance to endure till Feb (bonus month!). But well, everything has been going on pretty smooth this past week. Thank God for his blessings that are indeed much better than what i expected. He never fails me.

So many things i'm so excited about.

1. My upcoming babysitting jobs

Indeed God has been really good to me. Tell me.. who would hire a 21 year old with not much experience at babysitting to look after their kids, and even pay me so well. And i managed to clinch 2 jobs, for last night and another family for tonight. I'll babysitting 3 kids at Holland tonight, British family, a 10 year old, 7 year old and 3 year old. Hope it'll be fun. Anyway, I was babysitting this super duper adorable four year old Thai-American last night at Bt Timah, he is super handsome and so so so cute. His mom went out for dinner so i was with him the whole night. We had 5 hours to ourselve and this is what we did:

8pm: He drew spiders for me. That was what he said it was, but i couldn't really tell it was spiders so had to make use of my little imagination a bit.

9pm: We went down to playground and he makes me sit on the fire engine with him. We rode to almost 10 over places to put out fires.

9:30: We went to the fitness corner, he wanted to do pull ups when he saw the demostration board.. and i had to carried him and hang him up there for a dozen times.

10pm: We went back home and played gun shootings. I had to pretend i'm the monster and raise up my hand when he shoot me. This went on for a few hundred times.

1030pm: He got a little sleepy so he sat on my lap and started massaging my face with all his strength. He kept lifting up my eyelids, playing my hair.

11pm: He fell asleep on my lap with a lollipop in his mouth and i fell asleep too.

This is Jive:

2. Lancaster workshop at SPH building

We're having a Image Styling workshop tomorrow and I helped to be the model for their transformations. We did some photoshoot at work yesterday and tomorrow they'll be making me up. So fun..

Some pictures:

As an appreciation for my help, i was also given a Swissotel Buffet dinner voucher for 2. It's worth $98. Wow.. Let see who will be the lucky one to go with me for this meal. YEAH!!. (:

JB trip

This mark the end of a long weekend for me, but well sad as i am that tomorrow i'll be back to the boring job.. i know that all good things have to come to an end. Amy and I went to JB by ourselves today. It was the first time i've been to JB in such a small group, ok.. not even group, just the 2 of us. We took a 15mins bus ride from Kranji there, can't believe how near JB is to S'pore. We're just seperated by a 400m bridge. I've never notice that before.. yes in my many years in S'pore.. never.

Me and Amy on the bus there. Bus ride - $0.90 to JB. Bus name is The Yellow Smiling Face (with a big smiley face), isn't it cute or what.

Our lunch, Fish and Chicken Wing (hiding under fish fillet) with spagahetti or rather Mee Rebus. It claims to be spag, but looks and taste very much like Mee Rebus. Confused noodle.

Presenting myself and the plate of food i can't wait to dug into.

After some 'mee rebus', made a phonecall to nobody in a antique red phonebooth i thought it had already extinct.

Hello Hello??

Bike Congestion in the carpark. I wonder what will they do if someone needs to ride their bike out. Carry it out??

After lunch, we watched Death Race at Cathay City Square.. Wheee.. RM$10 for 1 ticket.

Followed by dinner at a BKT store 15mins taxi ride away.

Bak Ku Teh store.

Bak Kut Teh aunty.

Bak Kut Teh Customer.

and..... BAK KUT TEH!!!

This is my favourite buy. I adore those colourful biscult.
