Adventure Race kills.
OK LAH.. I'M HERE TO BLOG ALREADY.. YESH, FINALLY.
Well a recap to what i did for the past week that kept me so busy to even blog.
I took part in this overnight adventure race over the weekend that kept me running for 20 hours around the island. It was quite a last minute thing to take part in this race, but well definitely a good experience despite what i got in return from it. Well, we didn't win because there were just simply too many cheaters around. No.. we're not sore losers. I guess the organisers of the race really tried their best to ensure no one has a chance to cheat, but well there were still countless of loopholes. We were given $30 cash and our ez link card for the entire 20 hrs race, phones, bags, wallets, cash, everything else was kept by them just to ensure fair play. But there were still many who cheated, apparently, the winning team who won that 3k cash price was seen driving around when in the first place we were only allowed to take public transport and survive on our $30. That really makes our blood boil. Like that how to win.
Well at least we had fun, though it was really tiring surviving on just pure perseverance and sugar. ooh!! and i did canoing too!! love it to bits, have been so so long since i last canoed so when i learn that one of the obstacle in one of the 20 stations/locations was to canoe i was ecstatic of course. Annnnddd.. i fell really sick the next day, caught a fever followed by cough and now I've lost my voice. Went to see the TCM after work who gave me some really awful drink and super expensive tablets which i'm praying hard it'll work.
